For more than 40 years, DRC has conducted and supported scientific research focused on dolphin behavior, cognition, communication, health, and conservation, contributing to peer-reviewed scientific literature and advancing our understanding of marine mammals. DRC also collaborates with researchers and organizations on innovative studies, including the Cetacean Aerial Survey Project (CASP) with MORAES, which uses DRC’s resident bottlenose dolphins to develop non-invasive UAV research methods with applications to wild populations.

The Foundation assists dozens of worthwhile charitable organizations with their sea turtle conservation programs in Florida and abroad through their Gift Program, as well as providing scholarships to students who study sea turtle biology and conservation through their thesis and dissertation research.
