A minimum of 8 participants is required to schedule a private beach cleanup or coastal enhancement event. All minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Location
Beach cleanups will be held at Darwin Beach on Virginia Key, unless specified otherwise.
Timeframe
Beach cleanups are scheduled for a 2-hour period, unless specified otherwise.
Equiment
Snacks
Small snacks and water will be provided for all participants.
All necessary equipment will be provided by MORAES.
Safety
All participants must sign our digital waiver to participate. Individuals are expected to use tools and equipment in a safe and responsible manner at all times. Participants are expected to wear appropriate clothing and shoes.

Whether it be for a team building event, cleaning the beach, enhancing natural biodiversity, or helping to improve our coastal ecosystems, we are here for you! MORAES currently offers beach clean-ups, native planting, and invasive species removal events, planned for you and your group.

All nest excavation events will be held at Historic Virginia Key Beach Park
The excavation program is available on a first-come, first served basis and will take place during the months of July and August. Each event will from 7:00 am to 9:00 am.
Small snacks and water will be provided for all participants.
