City of Miami Beach Turtle Fest
April 25th, 3-6pm @ Altos del Mar Park

Turtle Fest is a celebration of sea turtle nesting season, with the goal to educate participants about sea turtle friendly beach and lighting practices. Turtle Fest will highlight the turtle friendly lighting program, the Flip the Switch Campaign, and the updated Sea Turtle Nesting Protection Ordinance. Come see MORAES tabling and learn how you can protect sea turtle nests this season!

Darwin Beach Trail Unveiling x City Nature Challenge
April 24th, 5-9pm @ Darwin Beach

For the past few years, MORAES and volunteers have been hard at work removing invasive vegetation, planting natives, and creating a walkable trail complete with educational signs. We are proud to say we are officially finished!

Join us for a celebration of games and drinks before we walk the trail as part of the City Nature Challenge. To participate, download iNaturalist and be a part of the worldwide competition.

West Kendall Baptist Hospital Earth Day Celebration

West Kendall Baptist Hospital
MORAES will be tabling at the West Kendall Baptist Hospital Earth Day Celebration on Earth Day. We will be teaching participants about the importance of sustainability and what they can do to make a difference on Earth Day!
