The event is held once a year as part of the museum’s ongoing commitment to fostering community engagement and access to science education. Adopt a Dune

Spotlight Project, in collaboration with Adopt a Dune and the South Florida Audubon Society, is hosting a sea oat planting event on January 10th. The event will take place from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Mizell-Johnson State Park and will highlight the importance of coastal dune ecosystems and the critical role of dune restoration within the park. Come see MORAES tabling at this event!
