As the Sea Turtle Nesting Survey Intern, you will lead daily sea turtle nesting surveys on Virginia Key, cruising the beach on the MORAES UTV and enjoying the sunrise at 6:30AM. You will observe, document and report marine turtle activity and oversee the adopt a nest program. This internship will require ~10 hours/week. Intern is paid per survey, with additional funding opportunities available. The selected applicant will work independently and is expected to assist in field work with reliable transportation.

Marine Outreach and Conservation Intern

As the Marine Conservation Intern, you will be critical in outreach and data management for MORAES. Key responsibilities will include creating social media posts and supporting workday events at our restoration sites. You will also maintain our Darwin Beach Site and coordinate and host two cleanup events. This internship will require ~10 hours/week. Intern is paid a small stipend, with additional funding opportunities available. The selected applicant will work independently and is expected to assist in field work with reliable transportation.
